Hello! I’m Emily.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over five years of experience in nutrition counseling. I have worked in various settings, including an eating disorder treatment center, a group private practice, and a community-based hospital system.

I am passionate about my work and would describe myself as a lifelong learner.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with cats, enjoying some live music, playing board games, and rock climbing.

Emily Taylor, RD, LDN, CDN (she/her)

  • I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies from the University of Connecticut. While completing this degree, I also had the opportunity to complete my supervised dietetic practice. I also conducted research on the lived experience of food insecurity, culminating in my Honors Thesis.

  • My work is informed by fat positivity, Health at Every Size®, eating disorder harm reduction, and intuitive eating principles. I am committed to continuous learning and unlearning in order to best meet the unique needs of marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, and disabled folx.

  • I describe my style as direct, compassionate, collaborative and client-centered. I will meet you where you’re at and help you to find your goals and values related to food and body image.

Ultimately my hope for all of my clients is a more peaceful relationship with food and body, and for them to reclaim time and energy taken up by worries about food for their goals, dreams and passions.
